• Credit card: a travel-category card rebating 3% (calculated post-discount) → (6,160 - 415 - 228) x 3% ≈ NT$165 (~US$5.1) in points
• Final paid: NT$5,517 (~US$171), saved NT$808 (~US$25) (13.1%)

The savings on a single Disneyland ticket roughly cover an Eggs 'n Things breakfast at Ikspiari. If your dates show out-of-stock during Golden Week, mirror it through the Klook official site. The flash window honors JPATT0119 at the same 25%-off cap.

Case 2: Osaka USJ one-day + Express Pass 7

• Baseline: USJ pass NT$3,050 (~US$94) + Express Pass 7 NT$5,280 (~US$163) = NT$8,330 (~US$258)
• Promo code: JPH25OFF 25% off, hits the USD 13 cap again → actual NT$415
• Credits: this order falls under the "designated promo items" list → NT$0
• Credit card: a wallet-linked card routed through its pay app, 5% points back → (8,330 - 415) x 5% ≈ NT$396 (~US$12) in points

This is exactly why the cap is the real ceiling on Klook codes. Even on an NT$8,330 (~US$258) order, the code only buys you NT$415 (~US$13). The card rebate becomes the primary saver, not the code. This is the smallest save of the three. The lesson is the most important one in the article. Not every order has a code that fits. When the code lane is empty, the credit card is your only line of defense. If you tap a no-overseas-rebate vanilla card here, NT$1,460 (~US$45) is what you pay, period. Klook Credits in practice: when to redeem, when to hoard

The conversion rate depends on Klook's current notice (Credits aren't 1:1 NTD; check the redemption amount on the cart screen).

When Credits are worth burning

• Small tickets, SIM cards, transit passes: there's rarely a code for these. Credits redeem dollar-for-dollar — they're the most efficient lever.
• Orders that already hit a code cap: Cases 1 and 2 above already saturated the USD 13 cap. Credits are the only knob left to push.

When to hold back

• Designated promo items: the redemption box grays out. You can't use them anyway.
• Items running a "Credits bonus" promo: occasionally Klook offers "book this product, earn 200 bonus Credits." Redeeming Credits at checkout normally disqualifies you from the bonus — pay cash to keep the bonus.
• Time-bound flight-style products near expiry: refund returns Credits as Credits, not cash. If there's a 7-day window where you might rebook, pay full price on the card and keep options open.

My quick rule: Credits balance under 300 (under NT$114), let it sit. Balance 500+ (NT$190+), spend it on the next order. Hoarded Credits inflate away as Klook tweaks tiers and rebates.

Failed cases: codes and strategies that don't work

Real talk: most Klook guides on the internet are 2023-2024 content with the dates updated. The codes died long ago. Three failures my team verified this month, so you don't waste an evening:

Failure 1: the viral "Friday flash NT$2,000-3,000 (~US$62-93) site-wide" code A handful of "Friday 11:00 AM minimum-spend NT$2,000-3,000 (~US$62-93) cash-back" codes circulated in 2025.
