Okinawa vs Ishigaki: Best for 5-Year-Olds? (2026)

The odds of something going sideways with a young kid are way higher than with adults. Antiseptic cream, band-aids, fever-cooling patches — finding any of those items on Ishigaki after 21:00 is genuinely hard.

Where does Ishigaki bleed money? Flights, mostly. Direct flights to Ishigaki are scarce. Off-season prices barely drop. Hotels are also 15–20% pricier than Naha at the same star rating (less subsidy money flowing in, shipping costs baked into room rates).
